Baby Clinics
What Are Baby Clinics?
As part of our continued commitment to supporting infants and families, Time To Talk Therapy Services is now offering baby clinic evaluations for pre-term and full-term babies who are having difficulty with nursing, whether with breast, bottle, or both. This model of care was originally developed by Debra Beckman and focuses on identifying factors that may impact early oral skills in healthy newborns.

Who Is It For?
Our baby clinics are designed for pre-term and full-term babies who are experiencing feeding challenges with no additional diagnosis.
We work with families who are seeking additional support, answers, and hands-on guidance to help improve their baby’s feeding and comfort.

What To Expect
During your hour-long visit, we look at factors that may be affecting feeding and oral motor skills. Based on the assessment, caregivers are provided with targeted recommendations and intervention strategies to support feeding and oral skill development. We encourage parents to record the techniques taught during the session so you can easily reference them at home. You’ll also have the opportunity to practice these strategies before leaving so you feel confident.
